Why ShantiNiketan Texas was Created
Shantiniketan TX began as Mohan Kunj Community, named in memory of my grandmother.
She spent some of her happiest years as part of a senior community in Vrindavan, near Mathura, where elders lived together, shared meals, welcomed family and friends, and found joy in everyday life.
I spent time there with my grandparents, living alongside them, and saw firsthand what a true sense of community can mean.
When my grandparents passed away, that place — and that feeling — stayed with me.
Shantiniketan TX is my attempt to create something similar here: a place where people can live with happiness, connection, and dignity. A place to belong.
